    Damn, I never knew that 1.0 biggest downfall, was genderlocked races. It couldn't have been any of the other big problems it had.

    Literally killed FFXIV 1.0. The game was almost perfect, but the genderlocked races literally killed the game.

    Yeah cosmetics has been the downfall of many a mmo. Terrible content and game design were completely fine, but god forbid a race only has the female option. First world problems right there, might as well shut the servers down now.
