While you didn't directly state it, it's heavily implied by the title of the thread, as well the genderlock being the main topic of the post.
I literally didn't it. You inferred it, nothing more.
Fact: one of the mistakes of 1.0 is they didn't finish their races, leading to player outcry that they add the neglected races' counterparts. (with some delicious irony of now male miqo'te avatars saying that adding male miqo'te wouldn't make sense and that it would Be Bad)
Fact: they're doing it again.

Seems to me that FFXI still has genderlocked races going on 17 years now.
