/Signed. Male Viera needs to be added. The Hrothgar are just as dumb looking as I expected them to be. They literally just slapped some fur and a lion head on a Roegadyn body and called it Hrothgar. It's one of the laziest character designs I've seen in this game yet. Male Viera would have actually added something interesting and different to the game. :/

Honestly I wish they had just said Viera are born from the wood and are always female rather than getting people's hopes up by specifically saying males exist...

That's not the point I'm making - the other three were genderlocked due to lore then they removed the lock.

Femroes didn't even have a lore excuse to be non-existent, hence why there's so many of them in MSQ and other quests. Saying "But Lore" NOW is ridiculous (Plus, again, miqo'te, especially moonkeepers).

I, for one, hope they get "What about Male Viera?" every Fan Fest from now on

The only reason I see them NOT doing male V is cause I don't think SE wanted XIV to be the first game ever in the series to be first in shopwing a male bunny. Since it's never happened before. I dunno if it was the correct choice but thats why I never counted on them showing.

To be fair, the game is getting pretty arbitrary about where and when it cares about lore heavily. IF it really cared about race lore there would be a few less races and a lot more racism towards the player depending on race choice.

Also a noteworthy thing they did was get rid of genderlocks when they moved from 1.0 to 2.0, so of course it comes off as bad taste to go back to locking.

I don't even go onto the forum but seriously? No healer? Alright, that I can deal as a main heal, but no male Viera? I've been subbed non stop since 2.0 even when I was not playing because I wanted to support the game, but I am very disappointed.

God damn it, Square. We thought you learned from your mistake of genderlocking after 1.0 but it seems not. This will NEVER leave the front page of these forums until both genders are implemented for both races. You’ve shot yourselves in the foot massively here. Instead of just producing both genders for one race, you’ll now be hounded and pressured to make 4 collective genders for two races. No one asked for Hrothgar and ESPECIALLY for it to be genderlocked at that.

Nice job, Square. Also, why no new healer? It’s almost as if they want to receive a mass amount of criticism, huh.
