That's not the point I'm making - the other three were genderlocked due to lore then they removed the lock.

Femroes didn't even have a lore excuse to be non-existent, hence why there's so many of them in MSQ and other quests. Saying "But Lore" NOW is ridiculous (Plus, again, miqo'te, especially moonkeepers).

I, for one, hope they get "What about Male Viera?" every Fan Fest from now on

To be fair, the game is getting pretty arbitrary about where and when it cares about lore heavily. IF it really cared about race lore there would be a few less races and a lot more racism towards the player depending on race choice.

Also a noteworthy thing they did was get rid of genderlocks when they moved from 1.0 to 2.0, so of course it comes off as bad taste to go back to locking.
