Gender locked race?

These troll posts and attacks on ones person are getting old. Getting to the point where I'm feeling petty and would just go 'you know what, with the way some folks are acting maybe we shouldn't get any.' - killing my hype real bad. But that's petty, and I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Think it's time I give this thread a pause until fanfest and we see who's sobbing and the likes.

Am not trolling am actually curious about the male viera appearance although Roegadyn is my favorite male gender race and know no other race will be as good as Roegadyn for male doesn't mean wouldn't like to see other different races.

Diversity is what makes the game good is what sustains one MMO so am on your side when you would like to see male viera in game too.

Won't be playing female viera character if there is no male is not fair is my way of protest, know that my opinion doesn't matter but is still one opinion.

It's those who are jumping the gun assuming that anyone who goes against their opinion is ultimately a 'troll' and out to get them. Instead of having a healthy discussion about it where the cons and pros are discussed; how folks may view that idea to be 'out there' and discuss why and vice versa - instead we get the chat turning into a mess and something that I relate to primary school shenanigans. And of course, I suspect I'm not 'innocent' of it all either, hence why I'm just - 'yeah, time to give this thread a break before I go full DRK'.

When you're using counter arguments that aren't rock solid against a point of a lack of diversity that is proven to anyone who logs into the game do pardon us for feeling attacked.

Elezen may be more on the slender side, but their lanky proportions are odd and they still have a bit of bulk to them. Then as stated by several others, all the females had an injection of waifu put into them(barring roegadyn and lalafell).

So please, do pardon us for being a little less than happy that people are trying to shoot down an honest attempt at diversifying the races with a different body shape.

There's a distinct difference between being slightly unhappy and some of the comments I've seen as of late. People have the right to be unhappy when their side of the argument is met with opposition, that's human nature. Being 'slightly' unhappy doesn't give someone the right to personally attack someone outside of the actual topic. That's the point I'm making. And I'm unsure if that was sarcasm or passive aggression in the tone in your writing - if so, it does not become you. As a note, not a jab as I have to be clear. I'm not going to respond to this as I have no desire to continue an argument or something along the lines of nearing one, I simply felt an explanation was needed on why I was starting to feel the way I do just as you explained why you are frustrated - for which I understand. I hope you have the opportunity to make a male that fits your aesthetic just as I hope it can also fit mine.

As for the race; I'm prepared to be disappointed on both fronts regarding the lack of Viera and Hrothgar not being my cup of tea. But hopeful that there might be a change in the future, even if said future is very far off. Hopefully, the 'request' thread for the opposite genders for Hrothgar/Viera doesn't end up being a screamfest and something the developers will read and agree with.

Anywho, I'm going to leave it at that. I hope folks get what they desire - haha maybe they'll blow us away come fanfest and we get the best of both.
