    But they added that 2nd floating crystal shard. I wonder what it could be? Everything else was a flashback to the Calamity, Dragonsong War and all the other cgi trailers, but everything else was kept the same as far as I'm aware. So why did they do that to the CT?

    It moves differently to the Crystal Tower like after image like when you move a the camera through an exit.

    Over lapped memory or similar object somewhere else?

    Wild Speculation, what if every shard has a crystal tower and thats how you travel between shards, and the second crystal in the image is like a mirror showing the first shards crystal tower.
