    Also on guns you could give this job duel wielding guns instead? There are other items of course.
    dual handguns would be cool. reminds me of the imperial chick in white armor. they could do something like wild arms for it, where you have a single weapon that turns into others depending on what abilities you use, but that would probably be overwhelming to have weapon transformations and beast transforms lol. maybe this class would have something more along the lines of a rifle?

    I'd love to see a giant cannon sort of gun lol, but to be honest I don't see the Vincent sort of job fitting that.. personally at least, do you? I mean big giant gun or rifle (both are larger than a normal gun lol).

    This "weapon" idea might seem a bit weird but what if it was a cloak/scarf/battle sash (Nezha from ancient Chinese myth). "wot?".. Hear me out lol.

    You know how Vincent has that cool cloak right? Imagine if it did a sort of Spawn (comic hero, has a shifting suit with an epic cloak and chains) / Doctor Strange (watch the movie lol) / Bayonetta (technically her suit is her hair but it shifts as she casts spells) / Voldemort last movie scene with Harry Potter as he shoots out jets of black and uses his cape type combat.

    Such that the job is a mix sort of "long range" melee with a morphing weapon (in such that the attacks stretch a little, but they're still pretty much melee - not like Red Mage in and out). There is also that boss in FFXIV with a stretchy scarf we fight in the first Raid, forgot her name but she has the Shadespin attack.

    Anyway it being a sort of cloak like Vincent would ensure the job gets a load of moody appearances, has a unique weapon, and the morphing of their weapon wouldn't be as hard as a morphing gun since the animations would blend the colors the weapon has vs having to design multiple weapons designs for one weapon (although I do like your morphing weapon suggestion, I just think it might take too much work because each weapon is technically multiple weapons then).

    So thematically for the job these cloaks are just more like vessels for the excess energy you're collecting and could even be part of the mechanics of the job - growing as you empower yourself before they envelope you and shift yourself into some sort of monster. This allows you to harbor way more energy than one would normally be able to do safely, even though the process is generally a very unsafe practice anyways (transforming is not something everyone in the game does).

    I just think the weapon for a job like this should feel with flow and speed, I feel a rifle job would be cool (or a more extreme larger gun) but anything that doesn't feel aggressive and fast might not capture the image of a raging demon (in essence). I like the idea of a morphing weapon and I don't think it's too much haha <3, but I might be hard to sell SE on a weapon that's many weapons.

    I like your suggestion a gun that turns into a shield into a sword, etc, etc, that'd require SE to make many weapons or unique animations for each weapon - unless you have an idea that would simplify that, cause it sounds cool just "hard". So that's why I went with what would be pretty unique weapon but still "shifts" and "morphs" and would also add a lot of mood to the character.
