It was a single anomaly only (Favor 100)

Hello!
My submersibles are not at level 50 yet (only lvl 10 and 28), but I don't want to build too many parts that I won't be using when it's at level cap, because I'm in a very small FC and it takes quite long as is expensive to build a part.
So I have a few questions, I hope you can answer them. I've already searched this thread and elswhere, but still couldn't find everything I would like to know.
- What is the minimum range to reach the highest sectors? For example, if you only want to reach one sector per trip. Range can get very low with different parts and I've read that you need about 20 range to reach the lowest sectors. That would obviously not be enough to even reach the higher ones I suppose.
- Is 145 surveillance good for a chance at the rarest items? I've read that you need 135 or 145. Does favor influence getting rare items or only the chance of anomalies? So if you would try to get high surveillance for rare items, does favor matter for it?
- I have two submersibles. Is it good to make one with high surveillance to get rarer items and another one with average stats or high range/retrieval, but less surveillance?
Thank you. ^^
I guess for a ship that's meant to exclusively target Deep-Sea Site 7 (W), I'll have to favor CUUC then. I didn't see a fit that's viable at 105 Favor and 100 Favor doesn't seem to spawn double anomalies.
- 64 is the longest distance for a single destination (Stone Temple (AC)).Hello!

- 145 is acceptable. It's the minimum value for the Abroader Otter, so we've been focusing on having that as a minimum stat for any subs we build. A stat of 110 Favor influences whether you get a second drop from a sector. The chances of an item being normal or HQ is influenced by Surveillance (they're considered separate item entries in the loot table).
- Kamacite Ore is the only real item that's being harvested in bulk at this time. If you're in need of farming that ore, building a submarine with high Retrieval and a Surveillance of 135 would be a good idea. Otherwise, CCSyC for an all-around ship or a ship dedicated to farming a specific sector would be a better use of your time.
Edit: I've been working with a friend on getting their submersibles up to snuff. While doing so, I'm taking the time to figure out a general progression with regards to fits while reducing waste. The only problem is that I'm looking at it in a vacuum without the regard for schematic accessibility. I'm also going to be favoring a steady progression towards a CCSyC fit.
Rank 1 - SSSS
Rank 15 - UUUS
Rank 17 - UUUU
Rank 35 - CUWC
Rank 45 - CCSyC
A full Unkiu is just... so broken, lmao.

Has anyone had this happen yet?
Was one of the CWWC subs I had out hunting for kamacite ore.
