Shadowbringers Steam Key is Invalid

I bought my ShB preorder through the SE store so IDK if it's different for Steam, but there was a two step process.

1. I used the code I got from the SE store site here.
https://redeem.finalfantasyxiv.com/na/redeem

That then gave me a SECOND code that I used at the mogstation to attach it to my service account.

Assuming Steam is the same way you may need to follow that link to input the code you have, to get a second code for the mogstation. IDK why it's that way.

a friend of mine pre-ordered through steam and did have to use the website, so for some reason it sounds like it's hit or miss. Op should definitely try this.
