I've never seen that happen. You're probably mixing up random people who are shouting that with the premades. Since the premades in all my runs always say on mic "do not engage in shout chat" when it becomes toxic like that. And if anyone bullies you in chat, you have every right to report them.

Well, then say that to them in the chat before the portals stabilize. Let them know of your intentions, since it's your right. It's up to them in that case to leave you to enter all by yourself or compete with you for the portal. And they also have the right to not include you in a party, heal you, kill a mob that's attacking you or use sacrifice on you if you died for that matter. GM's stated you can be reported for actions like entering and leaving (thus costing them a spot that they could have used for no reason).
