You don't need a party to get gold from a NM if you around the same level. And most people probably play on duo/trio, so even less problems, but you can easily get gold solo. So that wouldn't be an issue. The idea is good.
Your chances of receiving gold drops with the number of people in the instance if you're solo even if you're at the same level as the fate. It's different when you're fighting the NM with 20 people around compared to 143.
Explain me why I get gold when solo'ing then -.-
Because I even got gold when doing Pazu in solo. So there is nothing you can say to defend party group, if you do enough damage and know the mechanics to survive, there is no such thing as "but you need a party qq"
As I said, the number of participants affect your chances of getting gold. The HP of the monster scales up, so with your DPS remaining constant, the % of the damage you do to the boss is reduced. Thus your chances of getting gold goes down easily.
It does, but since the HP goes up, you need to do a lot more damage to get enough participation and generate enmity against all 143 that are doing it. And furthermore you'll have to keep on hitting the monster from start till it dies and if you were to die and lose time till you get resurrected, then you have a high chance of getting either silver or bronze. How so ? The fate scale to the number of player... The only fate where it can be true are the lowest level fate who smelt like snow on a frying pan. Otherwise gold medal are easy to get even solo once you are on par with the fate level even if half the Data center is here.
If you main a healer as your "Main Class" suggests, then it's much easier to get gold. Same goes for tanks. A lot of it comes down to enmity generation.
