Content don't pop up sudendly you know, its been constantly worked on ever since and even before its announcement. We are not talking about a cake you can just "Hey I make a babana cake", do it and put it to sale once its baked. The Ghimlyt Dark took twice the amount of work a classic dungeon does, can you even imagine how much work 4 full on instanced map with unique feature and its own balancing could take ?! and just for niche content probably less than 10% of each Databes will fully clear.

Sure, but obviously, they put those 18 months fully on Eureka, and abolutely not everything else that the game has released in between, right ? And it's not like they could ever announce something as their plan and only start developping it after the secured the core of the game, right ?
It's incredible all the seasoned developers we have on this forum to know such accurately how the content is created...
Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.
Nothing is fully on worked on, its not how video-games/MMO compagny works. Eureka is part of a whole, and some people thinks it took too much of this whole for what it does. Actualy, planning the developpement of anything in a MMO is already a lot of work. Common sens, have you ever heard of it ?Sure, but obviously, they put those 18 months fully on Eureka, and abolutely not everything else that the game has released in between, right ? Just because you have no idea how something work doesn't mean everybody have no clue about it.

Yeah, it literally took 3 dungeons of what we know we could have. Everything else is pure speculation and that's before the nonsense of Eureka being the only culprit for that loss.
But yeah, stating real facts would only diminish your argument so it's easier to act like you have a deep understanding on how Stormblood was developped.
Yeah sure, "This content is crap" is objective criticism, and "no it's not" equals "It's perfect" and is completely subjective...
