But if we do see Eureka as casual content (and honestly the size and amount of stuff done for it should hint towards it being meant as casual content, especially since the once casual relic is in it too and one of the ARR story question is solved there too) then its an utter failure in that part because even on the JP side only around 19% of the players reached Pyros level cap. So most of the players never went that far and I kinda doubt that the numbers will rise by a huge amount in the future.
Please read the quote again and explain to me, why niche can´t be casual?
The quote states that the content is not for everyone. Not that it is for hardcore players only!

I am not saying that there will be no casuals there but that the numbers of people doing it will naturally be lower if its seen as niche content otherwise it would not be niche. (IMO) And if its not niche but was planned for a bigger audience (which is for me the only reasonable way on why they put so much stuff and work behind it) then the numbers show that it failed. That the people on the forums/reddit and other sources that mostly disliked it are not the minority (exactly how we were not the minority for Diadem)

And that only a small percentage of the players even got to level cap on Pyros and that alone does not even tell us how many of those that did it truly enjoyed Eureka or just did it for items they wanted but disliked it.

So thats why I am on OPs side and say no more Eureka content in the future, especially if so many ressources are put behind it. I would wish that they use the money and time to try something else, something that might be fun or done by more than just a small percentage of the playerbase.

MMOs and ff14 especially are a big bunch of niche content put together.
Eureka is niche, Savage is niche, every goldsaucer game is niche, fisher is niche.

We would need the numbers of everything in the game and compare them to each other to know if special content can be defined as success or failure. Diadem died very fast while the Anemos-train is still going nonstop.

SE learned from Diadem, thats why you can join eureka solo and grp up inside (for example).

SE learned form Anemos and Pagos. Pyros was much better on release with better Aetherites and logossystem, Hydatos even better than Pyros with an easier to navigate map and less mob density.

They will learn from that too and im really looking forward to the Eureka-like-content they are planning for 5.0.
I´m sure something like group-level-sync or a workaround for it will be in place then, for example.

Of Course, that all doesn´t matter, if you don´t like any kind of grind.

There will be more Eureka style content if the Dev team feels the content was successful. Personally I would prefer something new but devoted to relic as opposed to simply running old content over and over again. I don't really want to see a repeat of what we have now although I adore the open world content Eureka has presented to us. Perhaps well find out more at the next fanfest and we can all make comments about something concrete rather than speculating what they might have in mind. Pretty safe to say I would think that that content is already in development and hopefully they'll share some of it with us there.
