There you go, you finally came to your senses. If the relic isn't needed for doing savage content. Then how on earth is it needed to do casual dungeons in 5.0? I must be one heck of an elitist since I did SB with a RDM that FYI has no relic.

If you need the relic to be BiS to do the hallway dungeons that are filled with mindless easy mobs, then you're not just doing something wrong, you're doing tons of things that are wrong.

And if you consider the rewards as a bribe, then biggest bribe is the previous relic quests. Because they know no one would bother touching open map fates and do dungeons and trials for light farming and tomes if it wasn't for the relic.

You are defending Eurekan relics for being BiS, relics were never BiS. They are ONLY a fancy glamour, a fancy glamour which btw people is asking to redo because the Eurekan ones are the ugliest weapon ever released (but DRK/WAR/BLM). The relics in ARR and HW had no rewards tied to them besides a fancy glamour and they are more successful than the ones from Eureka when SE tried to bribe people with other rewards to do the shitty content.

Eureka failed miserably, not even with the hairstyles, emotes and pets, people can be bothered to do it.

Sounds like you have never completed a relics in ARR and HW when the quest steps were new and first made available. The relic in SB wasn't BiS most of the expansion because of the initial delays in Eureka. Previously the relic at it's highest available upgrade stage at the time was BiS or very close to it. This cycle however I am seeing far more people building relics while the content is new as opposed to ARR and HW which after a point in ARR many of the relic builders had adopted the mindset of "I'll do it later after it gets nerfed to make it easier".
