I'm sorry I don't find your experience to be the norm and I would suggest you refrain from slandering an entire data center and people in order to push your apparent hate filled agenda for Eureka. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I would also suggest that at level 38 running around in areas with mobs with just you and a friend more than 10 levels above you isn't a smart thing to do.

There is no other way to reach the Fates than going past enemies 10 levels above you. And no, there is no agenda or anything like that, this is the same experience people around me had.
