You intentionally waited until the day before the event was originally scheduled to end before doing said event?

I mean, I get the instance server issue, but, the event's been running fine for two weeks up until now.

And you're going to conveniently forget that the actual day of celebration the event is for is the day before the end of the event? That is a bad move by SE. Valentine's Day should have been in the middle or at the beginning of the event, not right at the end. None of the events should have the actual celebration day at the very end. Especially an event like this in which many couples would want to do the event together on the 14th for obvious reasons. Having it at the end means if something like the instance servers hiccups then the event is ruined for a lot of people.
