Thats why the raids should not have tome upgrades, to use them at the uneven patch with smt slightly less capped... I do understand why were gettin those catch up patches but like, i dont even need one gear from Orbonne for any job as i can use aug. crafted or smt else, or just stick to 380...

If you dont get savage gear on like release and wanna gear up more then one job its... frustrating.

Currently using Eureka/MB weapons on my chars because I don't wanna do raids just to upgrade tome weapons. Kinda dumb they locking it behind raids like that. EX primal weapons are an option but I'm waiting for the nerf or 80 cap so it's much easier to farm trying for mount.

Why is that dumb though? If you dont raid, if you dont even do EX-primals, you're totally fine with a ilvl390 weapon - you'd probably be fine with a weapon of a much lower ilvl!

...and as I explained earlier I always found it quite difficult to understand why people just want the ilvl for the ilvl itself - I guess its some sort of valid goal, but I was always under the impression that those weapons are tied to the raids to help those who raid to clear the fights... because at the end of the day weapons (and gear in general) are tools to help you achieve your goals, not really the goal itself (or at least thats my humble opinion on the matter - which is why I never understood people who have no intrest in trying the more challenging content complain about not having straight away access to the best gear)
