    I 100% agree with this. I feel like even if the Relic was tied behind content (i.e. Eureka) but it had a compelling storyline, and solo achievements, or was even tied to "killing X Y Z NM's" with a purpose, it would give people even more pride and incentive to go out of their way to do it. I personally like Eureka and I'm ok with the Relic being tied behind it or other side content, but I definitely miss the back story element of it. The Relic Story line was completely overshadowed by the Eureka story line, and while the Eureka story line kind of ties it together, there is still a disconnect.

    The ARR relic had a running story, but each weapon also had it's own story which was compelling enough to make each one feel different. The HW relic story line was all about the soul of the weapon and it awakening which was really interesting and though the weapon itself didn't have a story it was 100% involved throughout the process. The SB relic is just a weapon made by Gerolt that really has no tie to the Eureka story arc, which does feel bland. I'm really hoping that the next relic will go back to and hopefully surpass ARR and HW as far as personal story.

    It's not even made by Gerolt. He talks about upgrading your equipment, and it just conveniently happens to be that the gear from your level 70 job quest is usable as a starting point. There's no attempt to give any of it any meaningful connection.

    hmm. i dont know. i actually like the idea of Eureka. i think there needs to be more in it, to make it better. but an area that plays with a different focus from the rest of the game was very refreshing to me, and i enjoy it when im up for it.

    The problem with Eureka['s idea] is it has already been tried thrice now. How many more times will it take before they get it right, assuming they ever will?

    They even learned during Eureka and it got much better. Pagos was obviously bad, especially the map design and leveling process.

    I think with Pyros and Hydatos they almost got it right.
    Leveling is fast, Logos actions are fun but not necessary, at lvl cap you can spawn half the fates solo, map design with aetherytes got much better, bunnys got better.
    Whats missing is the Group-lvl-sync , better droprates for some stuff and maybe some daily quests inside the Instance.
