So instead of offering your contact details publicly on the internet for a conversation you want to have, you expect other people to do it first?

And why would people choose to post their information to engage in a one-on-one conversation with you elsewhere, instead of holding the same discussion here where everyone can join in at once? Why would you want to hold the same conversation multiple times with each person that took you up on the offer, instead of having it once right here?
