i also hate having only 1 cure option and no enfeebling and extremely high costs of nukes.
15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?
CNJ has 3 heals.
The name of the game here is that if your unhappy with just one, level it up for the other 2. Thats the premise here. If your unhappy being weaker, then level up your class and/or other classes to utilize abilities to grow stronger.
I mean, honestly, isn't that the general concept of MMOs?
i dont play CNJ dude, im a THM main and Cura cannot be cross classed = too little options for curing this makes leve quests much more difficult than before and partying as the only mage much more difficult.CNJ has 3 heals.

i had to quit my party last night because we didnt have a CNJ and i couldnt heal for as much as the party needed.

Well that was kindda the point of the update. To give classes a role and thm got the nuker side of it. I personally am glad I cant heal with thm cause I would much rather nuke with it anyway. If you want to play a healer your going to have to do con tho, its the way the game is going. Every class has its role, there was no need for 2 mage classes if they did the exact same thing. We needed the diversity. Love thm, hated healing with it. Unfortunately I got my con and thm to 50 before 1.20 so I missed out.i dont play CNJ dude, im a THM main and Cura cannot be cross classed = too little options for curing this makes leve quests much more difficult than before and partying as the only mage much more difficult.

Perhaps now thm-burns that compare to blm burns from xi could be set up. Some decent exp could be gotten that way I'm sure. I would start a new char if I knew I could do mage burns again. That was always a good time in xi
I had no issues doing faction leves solo as THM.i dont play CNJ dude, im a THM main and Cura cannot be cross classed = too little options for curing this makes leve quests much more difficult than before and partying as the only mage much more difficult.

Party Play. You are a DD/ back up healer now. While it is completely doable to go exp/spiritbond without a CNJ in the party, some mobs will need a CNJ for -aga cures. But if exp parties rely on self-cures and on THM helping keep tank HP's up, no reason that a THM can't be in an exp party as the only mage. Exp parties don't even need mages depending on what you're killing.
This being said, yesterday was the first day of 1.20. We need to all learn the new class system etc. Some of the past exp camps might not be so good now. Raptors, I'm looking at you....
You have 3 cure options 5 if you include Sacred Prism + Cure/Cura. (Granted Nukes are far too costly)
Why do you play a game that you hate so much ?
Edit:- I see you meant on THM, I have no issu soloing on THM, use Thundaga/Firaga Combos and you shouldn't even need to cure.
Well if you refuse to play as a healer you only have yourself to blame, can't have it both ways.i had to quit my party last night because we didnt have a CNJ and i couldnt heal for as much as the party needed.
