Also, the mods deleted comments regarding the pricing of additional paid retainers. For example Adrestia's and my comments.

They did so in a discussion about the Mog Station and pricing,etc.

If i recall correctly the Original post of the thread was complaining over new emotes being added to the shop at xmas for a high price.
Like i said bringing in posts about a personal preference on an extra service and people claiming SE are forcing players to do that was probably considered off topic and trying to derail the thread.
Also its quite easy to say go to reddit.I know that the higher majority of players do post there but can you provide me with some evidence where the majority of people are complaining that no improvements have been made to the game since adding optional items (which have existed since ARR) ?

Because by your defenition we would have never had any patches or expansions to the game which there is clear evidence we have.
