Are Blizzard II, and Freeze useful at all?

But then I look at the umbral hearts phase and occasionally I need to pop a blizzard I to keep enochian up.

I don’t get this.I mean during Umbra Ice you can put thunder II,bliz 4 or even extra Foul then hard cast Fire III and still make it to Astral Fire in time.Maybe your spellspeed is kinda too low ?
Bliz II has its usefulness and if you’ve played BLM long enough you’ll know when to use this skill.
I’m agree with Freeze being useless outside PvP though.
