Id like to see and OGCD ability called Paladins Wall or something. It works like bide in pokemon. Your toon is animation locked for 5 seconds with their shield raised just absorbing damage taken. At the end of the 5 seconds, you do the shirld bash animation but there is a concusive effect that goes out 10-12 yalms that does 2x the damage done to you.

Damage falls off the more enemies there are. 100% damage for 1st mob hit, 80% for second, 65% for third, and 40% for all others after that.

IDK if it would work but it would be a cool ability.
