Totally agree.
Blue Mage is a hunter of monster skills.
It comes with a brand new type of content.
Just because it can't initially apply into every content does not mean it will never be able to.
And, Excuse me, but the only relevant content of FFXIV is not raid. I actually like more to level up jobs and play with the skills than to farm BiS to be able to keep doing the same thing you were doing to farm it.

I see a lot of "it's easy to balance, just make death V nor work on bosses", OMG, did you ever played Blue Mage? The most fun of it is to get that rare skill and actually make USE OF IT. The fun of Blue Mage if to hunt monsters skills, and not to keep farming the BiS and trashing is and farming the new one and trashing it, I really don't want to keep doing this, I want thins to be impactful, and this system is something that is actually doing changes to what is becoming stagnant and senseless to me.

Except you can't make use of it in any content outside of garbage low level stuff that every other job can already solo at max level.
