Yes, I am HELLA EXCITED for BLU. Admittedly, the "limited job" part was ever so slightly off-putting, but that aside, I still can't wait to join the Masked Carnivale, and roam the world over again as a Blue Mage in training. I refuse to believe that BLU is simply a mini-game class like some claim it to be. Are Disciples of the Land a mini-game? They roam the world to gather, based on RNG, even. To me, BLU is more akin to a Disciple of the Land, roaming the world and gathering abilities to use in the future. I think SE is going to find a way to make BLU usable end-game, very soon.
