I don't know, the DF argument just doesn't make a great deal of sense to me.

If you're worried about people not having actions then lock job quests behind acquiring a set amount of monster actions, then lock duty finder behind job quest completion.
Want to queue level 70 content? Complete the level 70 job quest.
Want to do the level 70 job quest? Best unlock 40+ actions.

Also not opposed to having a more limited but more balanced BLU for duty finder content, and gimmicky all out mega BLU for Carnivale, PotD and unsync meme runs.


Edit: I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't so incredibly separate. Every class and job can in some way contribute to your characters overall power, combat jobs through fighting for gear and tomes, crafters through making gear, pots, food and gatherers through getting the mats for crafters. Even fisher can help in some niche cases.

Blue Mage doesn't seem to contribute in any way at all though, even if it was something minor like gathering extra bad breaths to make (a more balance version of) 'bad breath scrolls' for use by other jobs it would be something. A sort of disciple of magic pseudo combat/gatherer/crafter job.

I agree with this. If the excuse is that Blue Mage is locked out because it may lack the required skills, then make it fair and apply this to every job. Oh, you're level 60 but haven't done your last 4 Job Quests? No Duty Finder for you.

Yeah I wouldn't be opposed to doing it for everyone at certain points. Want to queue 30+, unlock your job stone. Want to do 50 stuff, do your level 50 quest, etc.
