I'm not sensitive to it heck like I said I joked about it with friends online....but some gets offended in a serious manner.

And no matter what I won't fantasia change into a different race for that,Lalafell is my favorite race in XIV and I won't let this change it.

I promise you 99% of people are joking, especially if they're going "lol child" and walking off. Someone who is legit bothered would either not say a word or confront you in a more confrontational method. Believe me, I've had loads of fun with the second type. Generally when folks just fling a quick little thing it's to get this exact reaction out of you. They want to get in your head in some way. Do I seem to be taking this more serious now? Now that I spent more effort? No one making a serious statement will just walk off.
