Don't forget that only people who have been logged in during the last 15 days can post on official forums, so there should be a positive bias toward the game on the forums. Yet that wasn't the case for diadem/eureka/pagos. That by itself should tell you a lot of things.

Even when I was utterly bored of the game, I logged in just to retain the ability to post here. And people post much more frequently to complain than to praise, so there's no positive bias.

Sure but we ve been asking that since 2013 and SE never provided these sort of dungeons.

They still provided a new instance with a big open map where you could make and leave parties on the fly, where people actually talked to each other and be helpful and where you had to learn how to navigate without being spotted by ennemies. And they had the brilliant idea of not negating all of those by restricting mount usage. For that alone, I think Eureka is more interesting than everything from the game since ARR, even if it's certainly not perfect.

If capping your tomestones is a chore, you're too far away from any real commitment to complain about how Eureka doesn't reward you enough. Seriously, apart from literally giving you the second best gear, you can't be more casual friendly than the expert roulette. And you're clearly wasting your money by paying each month to play so little...

I don't commit to poorly designed content and feel no need to grind for something that will be obsolete in a few month or already is. As for your other points, we do not have the same definition of "big open map" (eureka and pagos are neither big maps nor open ones) where "people talk with each other" and I assure you there is a positivity bias on the forums. The fact that people have been complaining non stop for the last few month or not bother posting is an indication about the state of the game.

For the record, FFXIV must be the most boring game out of all the MMORPG released when it comes to gearing up. Gearing up doesn't have any impact on gameplay, you barely feel the power increase because in most content the Ilvl is synced and most gear is obsolete a few month later.
