If I'm understanding you correctly, the crux of your reasoning boils down to "well I knew it, they should too". You should know (here I go assuming!) that not everyone is going to behave exactly as you do or have the exact same information as you do. I mean, sure, all of the information is out there....somewhere, but it's incredibly easy to miss vital details. Especially since the game provides just about no information itself (is this horse dead yet?).

In this case yes, cause anyone with a PS4 can look up stuff. This isn't a debate, every PS4 on the planet that has FFXIV installed can go online. But coming off that, Is the problem you and others having is cause I'm blaming op? Cause everytime I explain why I get - BUT SQUARE- Even when I explain in this very case nothing SE would've done would've fixed OP's issue. His issue is simply the fact he's been playing since day 1 and somehow against everything has missed all the news on anything relating to housing. And to top it off he's gotten one in 4.2 in the middle of one of the biggest things yet. It's hard to believe SE coul;d've fixed that. That's like again my sonic example. How can I play and be a fan of Sonic the hedgehog fro mthe start. And not know he was made and created by sega? Thats what it sounds like to me... so understand when I tell you. I can't find it in me to 100% blame SE for something a user should've known.

Can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's that OP has already addressed the fact that they don't blame SE for them losing their house and items, but all these pages later, people are still harping over the fact it's OPs fault. It's like, yeah, OK, we get it- OP goofed - but lets keep adamantly pointing this out for another 10 pages for shits and giggles.

I also tend to take issue when people absolutely refuse to believe that someone may play a different way, or think a different way, or that they absolutely must be lying about not seeing a particular piece of information. We are not all the same, we all function differently. If they didn't see the housing information for whatever reason, which even they admitted was a bit odd, then why are people arguing against it? It's a waste of time and effort. Also detracts from trying to make this a productive thread.

I've been around since Beta, technically 1.0 if you want to get picky. Let me be the first to tell you that there is A LOT of crap I don't know about this game. Oh sure, I've put my fair amount of time into it as well (playtime is showing 299+ days), but hey, things get missed. With Sonic, I doubt you know every single last tidbit of information, no matter how big of a fan you may be.

Maybe in another 10 pages we can finally put to rest the fact that OP's lack of knowledge/information brought this upon them, and maybe then we can move into a conversation that may help improve the game for everyone moving forward.

It's not about knowing EVERYTHING, it's about telling me you have over 1840 or whatever days in this game, AND telling me you're invested and somehow with as big as this issue is missed we have timers on houses and housing items. There have been huge Sega logos on all of the Sonic games each time you start them. This can't compare to the demolition timer which is INVISIBLE for most of its duration.

Why are you so obsessed with OP? Most people are now talking about how the presence of demolition in the game needs to be far clearer and you just keep saying "BUT OP...!!!!!!!" Cause it's his actions that started this thread and I explained this already. I'm already writing a reply to him asking one question. If you can't see what my point was then I got nothing. I explained it for who knows how many pages.
