Anyone else use a Fantasia and immediately regret it?

It took me a couple weeks to regret it. I went cat boy, but ended up switching back to my Highlander soon enough.

Nope never have regret it. I thought I would regret it so bought 5 fantasia's but didn't and still have 4 of them. Just wish could trade or sell them.

Yeah my Fantasia problem is worse. I’ve only Fantasiad once for a race change, all my other uses have been for little niggling things like one eye color shade to the left or right or one skin tone shade to the left or the right. For some reason I struggle so much mostly with deciding on skin tone that even if I spend a bunch of time in the cc and also make test characters so I can actually see them in game, I’ll often still feel like something isn’t quite right after I’ve used the Fantasia. My charsare settled for now, but eventually I’ll probably again fall down the pit of hmmm coloring seems a bit off...

I've had the exact same problem. I don't think there's really enough lighting schemes to test colours properly. Day and night kinda don't cut it. It always ends up way off than what I'm being shown. Trying to find a balance between pink/ yellow undertone is the worst. :c

I Fantasia'd once: male Keeper of the Moon to male Xaela upon HW launch. I had the intention of Fantasia-ing back and forth about every six months, but the cost is prohibitive enough for me to decide against it. There are times I wonder about going back to male Miqo'te, but then I look at my Au Ra and how well it suits my character; if I did change, I can't imagine that it would take long for me to go back to Au Ra.

And this is where alts have their use.

No, I've used the 2 I got just to make minor tweaks: Breast reduction, tail lengthening, eye color, stuff like that.

This is why you make burner characters on under populated servers.

The issue is burner characters don't have all your glams.

Hairstyles as well. I always make test characters to try out emotes, voices, etc, but glam and hair can make a huge difference.

As far as the hairstyles go, I really wish SE would just add ALL hairstyles into the character creator, and then maybe put an asterisk next to them saying available via in-game content.

My first one. Had 2 of them due to 30 days sub (back when they were part of the veteran rewards) and from HW digital deluxe. Had decided I was going to swap to female due to glamour options, so I went with midlander. The running animation immediately made me regret that choice. Not wanting to be one of the millions of cat or lizard ladies running around, and with my buddy already being femroe, I used the second one to go Thighlander and have remained one ever since, which was a week or two before HW launch.

I went from sun cat to moon cat for various reasons. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the tattoos are darker. The sun cat tattoos are actually sun-faded.

I like my alt being an au ra but the name doesn't fit anymore. I have considered changing it but I don't think I care that much about it.
