Its ffxiv combat really so slow and boring?

Don't play PvP, do you? BLM was given instant casts that it didn't have before, specifically for PvP. All jobs were all redesigned specifically for the purpose of playing better in PvP.

I did and I hate the way they implemented it for spells because it's convoluted as all sin. We also have instant casts in PvE! It's called Triplecast and Swiftcast! And we've had Swiftcast since ARR and before the PvP overhaul!

Stop comparing stuff to PvP.
