Now IMO it would be cool if they did add something for FL but as of right now its just a "whoevers got the most time spent in there and win / losses ratio" gets put up first, perhaps if they changed how the ranking works like say first 30 matches u play count towards a score based on wins and kills that would be an ideal way to measure that. Top potd/hoh scores would be cool to but I feel u get rewarded enough by completion as is. Top free companies is a pointless statistic anyway rewarding that is irrelevant because thats not a competition.

    It's match making is underwhelming thats for sure, this has been a problem since the start, as well as a natural unbalance when u have alts in play making the real ranking of a team technically higher.

    They have good reason to keep these rewards exclusive as ive said many times before its the incentive or trophy you achieve for competing, it makes absolutely zero sense just because you or someone else happens to want it and now make said items easily obtainable because reasons. You dont win a trophy in real life for it to be handed out to every guy who happens to say "hey they havent given this trophy for a long time, I want it!" These Items are valuable for a reason and are one of the few items in general in the game that has massive value, why hand it out for trivial things like top fl wins.

    The way they need to attract players is a more fun mode in general and more incentive for just participating, more options for wolf collars THAT ARE NOT TOP 100 REWARDS... Feedback is key but the devs / pvp team doesnt seem to care for it as most of the things that happen make you stand and think "huh? why?" there is a disconnect between the pvpers and the devs. Until feedback and suggestions are taken seriously and implemented feast will stay in the unpredictable mess that it currently Is, Gms need more power regarding pvp reports, cheaters and boosters but where is that for example? they take chat log spam more seriously then a speedhacker, you know how much of a joke that is? Doesn't set a good standard at all.

    Realistically rank decay wont change much at all, It's not like those who are below will suddenly rise up from this nor will people who are high suddenly drop from top 100 its a wasted and unnecessary action. It wont be done anyway, not with the "highest score" in affect.

    Real talk: Majority are just too lazy to bother and instead refer to begging with unrealistic ideas and suggestions which take no account of pvp reward structure, value and design in gaming.

    Oh, no I totally get why they have seasons...but this game wasn't built to be a PVP game, is what I'm saying. It may not have the same rewards structure as PVE but it absolutely carries over the exact kind of format in terms of the skills we have available and the sluggish server response-times. The engine and infrastructure of the game are just not meant to be able to perform on a level that's needed for a truly competitive PVP arena-style game.

    I don't think they should make the same rewards attainable for top Frontline wins (or anything else outside of Feast), but if you're going to have leaderboards with rankings like that, why not throw them a bone too -- and not just a reskinned Allagan orb.

    The thing is, the desire and the skill may be there, but the time might not. I was queued up for 4v4 feast yesterday as the second-most desired role (tank and/or melee). You know how long I waited to get a match? 9 HOURS. And I'm not starting from unranked either. I'm close to Gold. And this was during prime time on my server. Hardly anyone is participating in Feast because it does require such an outlay of time to the exclusion of everything else in the game.

    What I think they should have done is kept trophies available for the top 1, top 10 and top 100, as well as titles. In addition, you get collars - the number of which depends on your tier, as it is now. But allow those who placed in the top 100 to get their reward first. So they could exchange 10 collars for a new thing, but everyone who didn't reach that amount has to wait and try again until they earn enough. This would serve two functions: 1) it gives the top 100 their exclusivity for a time and 2) diminishes the effect of boosting/alts/win-trading because it won't matter nearly as much, since eventually other players will have the same thing.

    Of course you might think "but they didn't play nearly as well as I did, so they don't deserve it" -- but remember that having fresh new rewards will always keep the top players involved. They'll always get theirs first, so they'll always have "bragging rights" to show that they earned it during that season.
