New Event......really?

problem is, many people including myself absolutely despise jump puzzles in XIV because they cannot be done properly

Honestly I think they did a good job.
I was mad when I saw the DMed jump puzzles. I hate the tower in Kugane, and I was thinking it would be much worth.
But for a swimsuit and an emote they made it to where you only have to do a easy course.
It's great and fast. Which I greatly appreciate since I have to do it with so many alts.

easy course? what about for those of us who can't properly do these damned jump puzzles in the first place because they cannot be properly implimented with the controls of this game?
frankly I'm surprised many people like the jump puzzles we have with the attrocious jumping mechanism we have. honestly unless they fix the jumping in this game you will find that many of us simply cannot do certain jumps and they happen to exist in the second part of the jump puzzle not just the third. they locked things behind this and honestly after looking at the tower I don't believe it is harder than part 2.
some people I swear they act like because they had no problems with it or that the event is different it makes it fine. no sorry not ok unless the devs fix jumping in this game to work properly
