New Event......really?

Gonna admit that I groaned the moment I saw it was a jumping puzzle, but was pleasantly surprised that the difficulty was on par with the gold saucer platforming rather than the abomination that is kugane tower.

Overall I had fun and will gladly take stuff like this over seasonal fates.

yeah, I groaned too. Idk about fun...I mean, ten minutes and you are done, unless you like the advanced course on the back of the tower. But it's pretty easy just to ignore that course if you don't like puzzles. I do wish they had a little more social aspects; the jumping is mostly done solo and there isn't anything to do otherwise.

For reals though, here's what I would have really liked for a summer event. I'm sure not everyone would like it but who cares about those guys anyway?

Queue up for a special pvp map (at Costa del Sol?) where class doesn't matter, weapons and actions are all replaced with water guns and water balloons and stuff. Doesn't need to be complicated, just a few actions. Could incorporate heavy, stuns, knockback into the actions.

Losers would still get rewarded of course, but maybe less than the winners.

Id love a snowball fight one same idea, make it an instance. I think it would be way more fun and engaging than some of the events we have now.

I love it, +100. And you could just have everybody be a winner, with each hit tallied like they do in gathering leves, get 1-5, you get 1 token, 5-10 gets 2, etc (that sort of tallying.) Hitting fresh targets could give more points (not the same person in a row), because nobody enjoys being targeted exclusively. Keep it fast and fun. Give us a reason to wear those swimsuits!

the event was great imo. Big fan of jumping puzzles. I wish we would have more around the world

I loved it, personally. As far as I know it's the first quest that has you complete a jump puzzle - the mandatory part is easily doable too, so no complaints there. Will definitely be going there to complete the tower again, was a fun, light-hearted challenge.

As far as I see it this is an improvement - no fetch quests, no doing the same FATE a hundred million times just because... please, more of this. I'm just happy I don't have to do any FATEs this time around.

If anything, I was almost disappointed in the first two parts of the obstacle course not having anything over-the-top silly to knock people off, like in that MXC show. I can understand the decision not to do it, however, since this is a game where lots of people get confused whenever a blatantly obvious aoe appears on the ground.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I found a tantalizing scratch n sniff at the bottom of Costa's seabed...
