I didn't realize i have a vertigo and fear of height until i attempted the jumping tower puzzles. Just as I had to leave the jumping towers incomplete. I'll just have to sit this one out also and pay SE $15 a year from now to get the outfit. Way for SE to be inclusive!
I mean without seeming insensitive to your vertigo and fear of height, but the height of the final stage is barely as high as the first 2 stages done. Besides, you only need to finish that repeatable quest and then another quest pops back by the Endless Summer Isle (Where you picked the quest up) for the outfit. Anything beyond that turn-in is optional and not required for the outfit. Worst case scenario you can just shout for someone to pilot you up then on a 2 seat mount. Pretty sure someone would happily pilot you on a mount

The jumping puzzle was fun, but do you know what was more fun? Watching the chaos of the tower unfold while floating in the water. It was quite relaxing despite the frenzied sight of constant jumping.
Not in those words, but by insisting “they should have done something better!” While everyone around you is telling you they actually quite liked it as it was, you are essentially saying that. You think it should have had more X so you find it more interesting. You wrote a list of things that would have made it better for you and say they should have been implemented.
And all this while insisting that anyone who disagrees with what you wrote, simply didn’t read it in the first place, or must be stupid and need things explained in a terribly condescending way. As if people couldn’t possibly read everything you wrote and still disagree that the event as-is “lacks thought”.
Someone had to design that jump puzzle, and it probably took more thought and work than the fluffy plot we got alongside it.
Also, adding obstacles like bombs would mean people have to rush more, which would mean requiring simpler platforming (ie. Cliffhanger, which you can do any day of the year). I prefer this more careful platforming than a random chance that a bomb will spawn and knock you off.
It would be nice for the event itself, but this still has to be a functioning game-world and people will be running normal quests there still. If you’re in serious quest mode, it’s quite jarring to have these events running around you.
It's preferable to the dailies from last year.
Yeah, I liked that too! Could see the tower (and the stream of competitors) from the second goal platform, and what it really reminded me of was... have you seen those novelty hourglasses that have a mix of oil and water so one liquid comes out in drops and travels along a slope as a string of bubbles? It made me think of that.
Honestly I think they did a good job.
I was mad when I saw the DMed jump puzzles. I hate the tower in Kugane, and I was thinking it would be much worst.
But for a swimsuit and an emote they made it to where you only have to do a easy course.
It's great and fast. Which I greatly appreciate since I have to do it with so many alts.
