The game uses fixed jumping, i.e. your jumps have a set distance and can't be altered or adjusted in midair. Kind of like the prinny games for PSP. You have a "tap" jump which is one distance and you do by tapping plus jumping, and a long jump you hold and jump. But because you can't adjust jumps in midair, the difficulty is that you overshoot your target a lot. And have to redo a lot of jumping to get back up.
Plus they like to make platforms a lot smaller in visual appearance then they really are. So you have to ignore them, a lot of times you need to land on what is empty air due to the fixed jump.
I did it, i just chuckled because its so SE. You either can deal with jumping puzzles or dislike them, they really aren't all that likable.
