You can check my primary account character, ill even open achievements up on him, if I am able to, you will see I gotten it at 2.0. Doubt its something you can do, but then again, who cares about titles from super hard content these days? Half the ultimate legend titles I seen, were bought by players who payed the Group money and allowed them to take over their account. Fact is, that I am able to rile you up so easily means you have insecurity. You are new at mind games arnt you?

@Hyo How without a parser? Its called Multitasking and being able to do Calculations inside your head. I am well aware a majority of people fail at math *As seen on Construct these days....* but if you are able to multitask and do simple calculations, you dont need a parser to get an estimate on someones dps.

Seeing as the pages skyrocketed like I knew it would, thus why I simply ignored the thread a couple days to let those I quoted basically, fall for it. I just basically proven and shown how ridiculous elitists and those who think they have something to prove, in a video game, can be for you OP. The thing is, even if Parsers were completely forbidden, even if SE somehow found a way to prevent parsers from working. Even if SE placed some tracker on your computer with your XIV install to look for parser usage thus preventing any and all use bottom line...

Elitists and those obsessed over a video game will always, always try to find a way, to lord over you, try to prove they are a "Superior Human Being" over you, or generally troll or belittle you, because sadly, it is Human nature, majorly found in mostly young players between the ages of 16 to 32. As you clearly saw, all I had to do was make a few statements saying I can do this, and I can beat you at that, then they all got up in arms, checking my lodestone spite not knowing this is a second account I am starting over again, and have no realization that my primary account has a couple world firsts, and been ridiculously high up on logs during the stints I played, but thats besides the point. The point is, you will find players of these types in any mmo, be it Hello Kitty Island Adventure *jokes* or ESO, or Wildstar, or Aion, or BDO, FFXI, TERA, Maple friggen story, Ragnarok Online, etc. I been playing mmorpgs for near two decades now, and this kind of behavior you will see from people be it on forum or ingame, is always prevalent.

Once alot of these players I triggered easily gets older, and wiser, they will look back and realize how pointless it all is, that getting hot under the collar over a video game, that yelling, and cursing and belittling people, over a video game, is not only gonna make them feel very silly, but will make them ask themselves "Why would I behave like this?" and so forth.

So, if you wanna not deal with elitists anymore and their B.S? Simply ignore them, SE cant do it for you, no mmo company can, you will find these types of players everywhere you go, thats why you simply either ignore them, make a network of friends to lessen the chance of running into these kind of players, or take preventive measures like chat filters, or simply learning and playing your class better. But overall, ever since a certain MMO, elitists have gotten worse, but truth is? Most of them would not be able to handle a more difficult MMO. I can assure you right now, the ones I quoted, and many others, would not last one week in a game like Everquest before Planes of Power, nor would they last a week in the upcoming Pantheon Rise of the Fallen. Because those games dont hand hold, they dont spell things out for you, they are not easy to play and requires great patience, something most players do not have anymore, hence why they get angry or upset, in a video game, at someone who is "wasting their time".

Play the game as you want, ignore the elitists. Have fun with a game YOU PAYED for. I suggest the ones I quoted adhere to my words and reflect on how silly they have been. Also, spend less time on the forums, its not good for you. I suggest maybe yanno, playing the game, or go play Golf. Golf is relaxing.

If you are telling me, one person, can keep up perfect uptime in savage, while remembering every single damage outgoing of 8 people, only to add it all up after, well you should be on T.V. or something. You should be super famous to be able pull that off.

Nice one, to be fair though he is likely comparing himself to a random pug dps player in expert or something where the bar is really low and able pull it off. However I do not think that player realizes the audience they are speaking to. Most people on forums, tend to be researches to some extent and have some extent of trying to perform well. My point is, with anyone here, it is unlikely that player will able to pull off such claims.

You know what shocks me? No one pointed out the fallacy of that line. 200+ fps is useless if your monitor can't keep up. If he was smart and trying to cut out all the loopholes for a counter he would of stated what his monitor can render. This game is slow though so i highly, highly doubt more then 60 FPS makes any difference to DPS in this game. Getting less then 60 or jitter bouncing of a low number fps and to 60+ will make a difference but constant 60 vs anything more? na

I am in general agreement, but I'd rather have us pick battles we can actually win. There is no way in hell that SE will ever implement parsers for all level of content, so it's best to focus on having it in content where it matters the most: Content with rewards gated by weekly participation to the point where a public party's chances of clearing said content decreases drastically the further into the week we progress.

You should ask for the world and then let them come to the table with the compromise, there's no reason to let them weasel their way out of this. They already weaseled out of this with promising addons and then shoving it under the rug, we let SE get away with too much as it is. They're the reason that this game has any "toxicity" to begin with. Like when they added housing and then opened the houses for personal usage then afterwards reopened Balmung, another problem of their own design because the server capacity is too small in this spaghetti code game.

Did not answer the question, can you come up with a number or just get a general feeling that a person damage is low. The latter is what most people do, the former I am a tad skeptical but I have no reason not to believe you since what does someone gain from lying over the internet. I mean if you come up with a number based more so off your experience and not so much the data I would not say that is a product of figuring out calculations yourself, more so making an educated guess based off the general performance and time to kill. Just the way you worded made it seem like you can process all the data in the combat log and gain a fair estimate as to what a player is doing, but sounds like you are simply making an educated guess based off the factors you can easily keep track of such as ability usage or lack, general performance etc...

i guess that was meant to be some sort of "LOL NERD i go to the GYM" thing but it just sounds sad stop it

We have a new tool from elitist people from a community called The Balance. They look at people's parses and laugh at them on a discord server, it's unacceptable! Now they're going to use their toolbox to tell people how to play the game.

I think we should remove all numbers from the game and that we shouldn't be able to see bosses' HP for the best experience, and bosses should also regen health if you DPS too hard for optimal play.
