I think the NA team is telling Yoshi what he wants to hear and leaving out the flaw in the system and whatever responsiblilties NA team and showclix may have in this.

I have a slightly different take:
That Showclix is bullshitting the NA FanFest team to cover their [company's] asses, leaving NA FanFest team to take the full brunt of [player] dissent.
