Is it really so hard to believe? It's a small. I bought a small last time I was playing with full knowledge I was going to lose it because I had no intention of subbing. 3 million gil is nothing.

I've also considered selling a mansion to an FC at a discounted price (lower than the price it costs) but I didn't because the question of whether it was allowed or not was muddy.

from what I understand, SE doesn't want people buying up properties and reselling them for a large profit. Selling an FC is not a problem, hording properties just to resell they had an issue with.

If they really wanted to go after any player selling properties, there is a whole reddit forum devoted to buying and selling houses they could track down, people even list property locations.

The difference is having a bunch of characters running retainers doesn't require you to hog a limited resource. The number of retainers you have has no impact on how many retainers your neighbor can have. As long as workshops are tied to housing, whether it be FC or personal, it's going to encourage people like Oliver to hoard them at the detriment of others. Workshops would need to be decoupled from housing entirely and make 100% public and easily accessible for your comparison to hold true.

Giving away a house, even if we assume it was legitimate, does not wash your hands from all the housings you gained though illegal means, and does not wash your hands from making people mad here with the amount of arrogance of what you shown off. I know plenty of people that did more then you to the community, do not even start. The difference is they do not show off.

Correct, I did have to transfer ownership from service account #3 to my service account #2, #1 already being loaded with 9 houses when they doubled the amount of wards. That restriction was dropped when they allowed anyone to purchase a house. You can now purchase as many FC houses as you want, just like it's always been aside from those two weeks where people could only relocate or purchase an FC house.

When this was in play you circumvent this, along with the FC requirement since you admitted only having 7 FC members, so you should only have 2 FC houses not 16. You broke the rules in so meany ways going by your own admissions.

I could even give one away if I was feeling particularly generous that day. Considered that, too, but didn't feel like going through with how I planned to do it (interviewing the FCs).

My guess is because when making polices in the first place, they did not expect anyone to do this and act like this. Now you have to have them investigate and see what they can trace in game, who knows if they have logs going back far enough. Then even after all that is said and done, no matter what they do, they have a strict private policy to deal with. Since this person was very open, no matter what they do, or even explain what is truly a violation or not, it implies action taken on someone end ends up stuck.

Yeah, it is like EA tactics, making a "tactical retreat" more so then caring about the community. If they cared about the community they would not be here showing off and making people mad in this thread.
