Buying a house.

Isn't that what the grand crosses and forsakens are though? I remember Grand Cross Delta being very epic final phase feeling.
I think the reason it should feel different is that if the pacing of every single fight is the same then it gets stale.
And thats not even getting into primals, which still very much have them. Especially Tsukyomi

I have to go back a ways. A2S Gobwalker duties. Being a PS4 player it was always extra nerve-racking trying to make sure mobs were getting stunned and vuln'd appropriately. Or you know, those oh shit moments when so many enemies spawned you couldn't select the right one in time because it got shoved way down on the enemy list. That's really the only mechanic I can think of that kept me on edge every time we went in, though I was a raid scene casualty and never finished a6-12s

Raubahn Savage, enough said.
Any "knocks you off the platform" mechanic. Even when they're super easy to avoid they still freak me out every time.

No one said misdirection? Really? To be honest I assumed that wouldn't be in a savage fight when I first saw it in rabanasty. Mostly because the whole thing is essentially designed to make it harder to evade attacks. Which is what a 24-man fight needs. O7S has misdirection. Why? Because O7S is right awful. Misdirection is just doo doo icing on a crap cake
Pardon my french

I wouldn't say fear, but meanest? I absolutely despise trash mechanics like demonic stone in o6s that only punish 1 or 2 persons, losing 300-500 dps every time I get it because fuck you.
That damned thing lines up perfectly with leylines, and it's nothing but a massive "fuck you in particular", I hate it
