Housing relocation is crap!

Going by how people are saying the current housing system is good and that relocation is a good feature(they aren't in any way shape or form) you aren't going to get any meaningful responses. The relocation system is terrible but sadly if you want a house in shiro your gonna most likely need to use that. With the invisible timer and anyone able to relocate your gonna need to bite the bullet and buy a meh house in some area you dont like than relocate if a shiro home is open. Hey at least you have homes I guess and arent fighting 50 other people for one home because of the lack of housing wards on bigger servers /shrug.

If you've been paying attention...and you've bloody well not have....you'd see that we've been saying its an improvement. Its not good..its not perfect...but its better than what we had before.

Before you throw the word ignorance you'd might actually wanna make sure your not talking out of your ass. Also improvement to what the system is bad in some cases worse than before. The relocation feature completely contradicts this "invisible timer" thats put in place. Remove the feature and the system is still going to be awful, a turds a turd but at least its a shiny turd I guess but at least you don't wait x amount of hours just to have someone walk up and bypass the timer. Its a royal rumble (depending on your server) without the chance of interference. 5.0 is the only chance SE has to redeem this housing system instead of putting on a band-aid and say we're done!

Relocation is not an issue because it does not consume the net amount of available houses. It just changes the location of what is available. It does not contradict the timer at all.

Stamp your feet all you want but you could have a medium by my alt's FC house right now if you really wanted a house that badly. The one directly across has been available for almost a month now so it's close to hitting max devaluation (current at 11 mill as of this moment). The one to the side and just downhill has been available for two weeks. There's no timer holding anyone back from buying those or the 8 smalls available just in that one subdivision. There's plenty of available housing here. If you really want a house that bad, the only thing stopping you...

Wow, that's quite the reach. Is there anything Balmung will not be mysteriously blamed for?

Anyways, it's lame but there is nothing you can do about it now. Though I will say for anyone that thinks the advice of taking any random plot available first and then relocating is really common knowledge, only a tiny, tiny percentage of players visit the forums or outside fansites, so they may not have even thought of that. They may not have even read the housing guide. Then when they see a relocater plop on top of a plot they were waiting for, perhaps even hours, they understandably get upset because they didn't have the knowledge to prevent this, which makes them come to the forums to complain.

I love how you instantly throw Balmung then throw shade at me for wanting to be on a server I have friends on. Lets blame the people and not blame the company who's still running on the worst mmo code (1.0), who made the worst housing system which cannot fit the demand of some servers. If I really wanted a home I could leave the server that wasn't my point though. I have an alt on louisoix theirs some homes, but my point was that at least the op has open homes and doesn't have to fight 10-20-30 people to get one and on top of that prey someone doesn't relocate making you spend all the time for nothing. It does also contradict the timer because you can have someone wait x hours whos ready to buy the home then just have someone relocate? The timer system is suppose to not have players resell homes and give more people the chance at getting one. Having an ability to just take the home ruins the fairness for others as they've wasted their time and have to go find the home that was relocated and repeat its a pinball effect.

Players on Balmung get shade because of the attitudes they display and their complaints about situations of their own making. No one forced you to play on Balmung. Your friends would still be your friends even if you played on another server.

If you think the housing in SE is so bad, then provide examples of housing systems in other games that you feel are much better and state why. Don't bring up instanced housing because we already have instanced housing. It's called apartments. If you bring up the games where it costs additional real money on top of standard game fees to get anything better than a shabby apartment sized dwelling, you'll find few people agreeing that it's a better system. You could be thankful you're not playing a game like WoW where there is no housing and likely never will be.

There is available housing out there. It's not SE's fault that players aren't using it.

There is no contradiction in the timer. There are just as many houses available after someone relocates as there were before. The only time the amount of available housing decreases is when a new buyer makes a purchase. The system does cut down on resellers (though the one personal/one FC house per world restriction does have a greater impact).

The system is fair. Everyone who wants to buy has an equal chance to be the one standing at a placard when the timer expires. Just because only one person can win out of those competing for a limited resource doesn't make the system unfair.

Who said I was gonna quit? And how is it my way? You mean people wanting a better housing system? Which has been expressed on many post on here,reddit etc. Instead of picking words do the proper research. What I meant by 5.0 is the only chance is that SE needs to make a huge Improvement givin the budget they get for 5.0 to make housing a better experience. Look at how other mmos do it, actually brainstorm ideas on improvements make sure things work instead of more wards with band aid fixes. Show they've listened to feedback from long time fans who actually come up with good ideas.
