Or, it is supposed to be tacky like this, leaning heavy on the dresses that princesses of lore and fairytales used to wear.
I mean, look at Disney alone with their roster.

Again those dresses have the puffy part begin under the waist





The dress added in-game has the puffy part begins where your stomach is making you look like you either have a massive stomach or you're 8 months in pregnancy.

Oh what's the big deal, it doesn't hurt every now and then to shake things up, geez XD
As long as others (well some) like it, no need to fuss over it.
(With this is mind, if the dress 'supposedly' make the character look 8 months pregnant or make them look fat, wouldn't the front bulk part of the dress stick out more than the back??)

There are dress designs from way back where normally the waist line falls at or just above the natural waist which can lead to the puff/hooping to start farther up. the fairy tale dress tries to follow those lines, however each race has slightly different body shape. so it will look good on some not others.

And again its just a game. There's plenty of good and bad designs in this game. I've never understood the "omg you look pregnant in the dress". Clearly our in game characters are not and some dress/clothing designs are meant to start certain ways....just enjoy the floof if you enjoy the floof! It's my favorite dress by far on scale of floofiness and movement.

I specifically avoided replying to your last post because you clearly enjoy the dress as it is and I didn't want to rain on your parade, I don't want to change your mind, but doesn't mean I'm gonna stop voicing criticism over its design in the thread intended for it.

If you don't want to see negative feedback I suggest not opening this thread then, giving this a pass is why gear design seems to be getting worse every patch, and not just mog station stuff.

I don't even understand your response to my opinion to your opinion....

Plain and simple not everyone is going to like everything, and not every item can work the way people want them to work. But in that same aspect, some people will like many things and are ok with some items not working and make creative adjustments around certain items.

So in response to your "if you don't want to see negative feedback" which I never actually alluded too. I just said I never understood the "omg you look pregnant in that dress" I don't understand that logic in game or in real life with real life clothing.

Edit: Looking back my response was to the puffy of the dress and the pregnant look of the dress of your comment. I still don't understand your response of avoiding negative feedback when I simply pointed out, there is more than one style of dress....and nowhere in either of our statements did we allude to gear design getting worse.

To explain my response, nearly every time someone makes that comment ^ they just want to shut down negative criticism, it's similar to the "if you don't like it don't wear it" point of view. Yes some people will like it and some will not, that's not exactly adding anything to the discussion.

You go ahead and criticize to your heart's content. Even if this dress thread is made for criticism, good feedback can be allowed too.
