It doesn't really help sebazy. The problem really is "seeing" the mechanic as it unfolds. Thats from pure repetition, and a decent amount of people need a lot of tries to reach that. You can know everything is coming, but maybe because the mechanic is slightly randomized or what have you the mentor will hit a point where the player gets the mechanic conceptually but they just cant see it well enough to react. Especially if the time to react to it is short and requires preplanning. This is kind of why hard content struggles to find a large audience.

I think they should just make an ex roulette and let people opt into doing that instead.
