It should be noted that OP specifically mentioned looking up how to do Ramuh Ex before venturing in.If you want to know how mechanics work before pulling the boss, it's more efficient to read or watch a guide instead of asking someone to type everything in chat just for you. In hard content you should aim to bring your best knowledge and ability out of courtesy towards other players, or "carry your weight" as the saying goes.

That's good, but I was mostly referring to this part below. There should be no need to tell anything if the person already saw a guide. At the most people discuss positions and who takes what responsibility during the fight, but that isn't something a mentor alone should rule.
On another note,
I really like this idea!Honestly at this point they should decouple Mentor Roulette from the Mentor system. Rename it to "Duty Roulette: General", and keep the mount reward from it. Takes away the reward for being a mentor, but the queue filler duty roulette remains as is. Would also not force mentor on you. Problem solved (for the most part).

There is a difference between someone telling you they have no other tips to give and someone telling you, and I quote op, "refused to tell anything and said that this wasnt worth his time because he only wanted the mount."That's good, but I was mostly referring to this part below. I find it baffling people are actually trying to defend a mentor who is clearly an example of a bad one.
I like "Duty Roulette: Veteran", myself.
You don't pay their sub so you don't get to tell them how to play. On the flip side, they do pay SE a monthly sub, so that's not going to happen.
To be fair, unless we're given a chat transcript, we can't be certain OP isn't, shall we say, paraphrasing. I'm not saying they don't exist, but we are talking about a specific case here the details of which we don't know.

If other people are new, it's still a nice thing to answer questions. People are so seldom willing to learn that I get excited seeing someone actually asking for help. And if this is the Mentor's Mentor Roulette, well they are expected to at least clarify if there is uncertainty or confusion. It's downright rude to stand there and tell someone "you aren't worth my time, I only want the rewards" when you're wearing a crown, in my opinion. That's good, but I was mostly referring to this part below. I still don't understand the flak the OP is getting. They came in prepared, but who's to say another newbie did not, or that the OP requested clarification on something they weren't entirely sure on, and were shot down by someone who was supposed to be there to help out. Because they weren't worth the "Mentor's" time.
