So whats your point again, beside bringing up a useless comment? Saying i didnt get the Point when i obviously did and also commented that with my opinion, doesnt make sense at all. The discussion kept going with the same Stuff i was saying, but more detailed. Check the Posts above yours.

To be honest, i didnt even start getting defensive. And seriously dont speak about arguments if you didnt say a single word which belongs to the Topic.

Maybe you did read it, but you didnt understand it.

And i said its not the Problem of SE, when Customers are to lazy/dont want to simple fix this minor bug by themself. Of course if SE is going to adress the issue, a couple people are may be happy, but it doesnt change the fact that SE is not forced to do it in any way. Read the ToS, then you will realize they dont have to do it at all, but if they do it, its a really nice thing to do.

And again.. it is not SE's fault if someone's Brower/PC is not properly set to the optimal settings. Mine redirects me to UK.. and it doesnt matter if im in Italy/Germany/Spain or whereever, since my Browser is simply set this way. Next time i should blame SE when my Provider is messing with my Connection. Same shit. <_<

Hey Nero, browsers can auto detect based on IP what region you're on and display the proper page. How annoying would it be to go on google and get directed to Japan's google page? Then search how to set the language, only to have it revert after you've cleared your cookies?

The point is this type of service should be transparent to the customer it shouldn't require any action on the customer's part. You obviously don't have a problem with it, but to others including myself its poor quality.

[NVM.. missread the first part.] If i set my Browser to JP, it will lead me to JP Sites i.e. JP Google. JP Youtube or whereever. Of course they can auto-detect where you live and that is the Mainproblem here for some people that the Lodestone is showing the US Version instead of UK Version. So simply changing that setting would fix it.

Doesn't work for some sites really, for example Google, when I'm in portugal it directs me to Google PT when I'm in france to Google FR, etc and I have my settings to English (UK) in my browser, so yah there is some sites that base the language page based on your current IP, which I'm quite sure Lodestone does too.
