Why should I have to change the language of my browser?
I'm the customer here. It's like telling people to change their router settings so our updater actually works. That's not what I call providing professional service.

Well basically it can happen that you have to change your Router-Setting to make the updater work. It takes just a couple seconds to change the language and has really nothing to do with Customerservice imo. But as you see, they heard you and it will get fixed.

You're missing the point entirely though. What he's saying is that it doesn't matter how easy or hard it is, the point is that it's not something you should have to do.

What is your point tho? Stepping into a conversation, putting in a useless comment to defend someone? Are you in love with him? Even if i dont agree with Betelgeuzah in this point, he is usually a person which can speak for himself. Read what i said, learn to understand my opinion, read between the lines and maybe you will get it.

The point of my post was generally to point out you not getting the point. It has nothing to do with my particular feelings for any poster. I've had my fair share of differences with Betelgeuzah's opinions. What is your point tho? Stepping into a conversation, putting in a useless comment to defend someone? Are you in love with him? See now though you're getting defensive and taking shots at me based on some kind of assumptions on your part which makes me think you've really got nothing left in your argument.
I did read what you said, you were saying that there are situations in which one may have to go out of their way to get things to work. And as I said, that's not the point. The point is that the player shouldn't be forced to. When Borderlands came out for the PC I had to open up some ports to get the online to work right. I had no problem with doing that but it doesn't change the fact that the player shouldn't have to go out of their way to make a game work, or in this case a web page display properly for their region.

So whats your point again, beside bringing up a useless comment? Saying i didnt get the Point when i obviously did and also commented that with my opinion, doesnt make sense at all. The discussion kept going with the same Stuff i was saying, but more detailed. Check the Posts above yours.
To be honest, i didnt even start getting defensive. And seriously dont speak about arguments if you didnt say a single word which belongs to the Topic.
Maybe you did read it, but you didnt understand it.
And i said its not the Problem of SE, when Customers are to lazy/dont want to simple fix this minor bug by themself. Of course if SE is going to adress the issue, a couple people are may be happy, but it doesnt change the fact that SE is not forced to do it in any way. Read the ToS, then you will realize they dont have to do it at all, but if they do it, its a really nice thing to do.
And again.. it is not SE's fault if someone's Brower/PC is not properly set to the optimal settings. Mine redirects me to UK.. and it doesnt matter if im in Italy/Germany/Spain or whereever, since my Browser is simply set this way. Next time i should blame SE when my Provider is messing with my Connection. Same shit. <_<When Borderlands came out for the PC I had to open up some ports to get the online to work right. I had no problem with doing that but it doesn't change the fact that the player shouldn't have to go out of their way to make a game work, or in this case a web page display properly for their region.
