Are you even reading? Adding voice lines takes resources (time/money) that'd otherwise be spent on developing something else.

Again, what content (dungeons, raids, etc.) would you be willing to give up so you'd be able to hear your character talk in cutscenes?

Clearly as little as you are reading: P I'm pretty sure SE has the money needed to VA our char for a few major CSs throughout the entirety of the game. You seem to think SE is bordering on broke and that EVERYTHING will cost someones firstborn, their grandma and her teeth!

Who says it has to be one or the other? why cant it be both? And frankly I'd personally, just for me and my gameplay give up PVP in a heartbeat for that.

So you're absolutely clueless about game development. I never said SE is bordering on broke, but it's still a company. Companies care about profit, and having to spend more on development cuts into that profit.
Then again, money was half the resources I mentioned, since I also mentioned time (as in, the time it takes to develop something).

Read Elamys' post, you can't just invite some voice actors over to create lines, and then just drop them into the game. This dialogue has to be written from scratch, fitted into the cutscene, translated to multiple languages, and the voice acting has to be changed to fit with every voice of every race.

To put the last into perspective, each race has 12 male and 12 female voices, at a total of 144 voices (midlanders and highlanders each having their own set), although there's some overlap in voices, so let's say 120 unique voices. These would all have to be voiced in Japanese, English, French and German. Since each patch has some cutscenes with voice acting, that's something they'd have to do every 3.5 months.

yes, and taking ALL that into account, even so I still think SE can afford it. You still seem to think this is far too expensive. Your probably right, but i still dont care. This is a suggestion from me, as to what *I* would like added in the game instead of glamourplates, Eureka or anything else. I have answered and we are never gonna agree, so you might as well stop. I know I will after this post.
