I could care less if they looked up my lodestone, personally. What I do care is if they can still PM me, teleport to my house/apartment, etc. (I don't care if they visit my house, but if they're not on my friends list, why should I be on theirs?), etc. I'm talking regular instances. No longer game together or no longer considered friends, etc.? Just remove them, yenno? If skype and some other social aspects make the removal two-way, there's absolutely no reason FFXIV can't make it two-way.

Edit: seeing the other comments, I totally get why you included that.

    So much editing below:

Unfortunately, that's a possibility of unblocking someone who SHOULD be blocked. Not sure if something like 2-way friend removal would wholly aid that situation. I was able to find a friend of mine (ex-eorzean spouse) who changed his name after we both went to different servers (our server was pretty dead). All I did was google his name and Google showed up a character with a different name, but I knew his classes, levels, and such since we used to always play together so I knew this was the same character. Was actually how I found out he and our other old amigos switched servers. So, Suko is right in that X person can still track your Lodestone page and whatnot, even without your character ID code. I think in that situation, you probably should have reported for harassment?

But yes, I agree. Should definitely not be on their friends' list even after you block them - or even after you move servers.
