How strange. I wonder what would make them do that? Could there be something underlyingly different about how they are presented perhaps? Or are they just arbitrarily doing it for some reason? We don’t seem to get cutscenes from seasonal events, so it’s not the first time things have been inaccessible afterwards, but still.

Is there somehow something in the content of scene that they don’t want the player to be able to revisit? I can’t think of a scenario.

Closest thing I can think of in the MSQ is you're unable to replay the version of the conversation between you and Alisaie in the Beneath the Star-filled Sky if you had beaten The Binding Coils of Bahamut. You only get the default version as if you hadn't.
