I'm still not setting a foot into Ridorana. If they want to make me go then remove the need restriction.

I haven't set a foot into Eureka either (I haven't even done the quest to unlock), I have no interest in mindlessly killing mob after mob. But it's still a fact that's just a failure compared to the vanilla & HW one.

Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

Gear aside, you may still want to consider doing it once a week at least, as I expect there'll be tokens to use for Mendacity upgrade items. There's probably also the Cracked Clusters and some extra tomes as well.

Not really needed with savage gear.

And if I wasn't discouraged enough now they also made it look so ugly ... so for sure I won't be doing it.

I mean, if you don't want to then no one's going to force you. I just thought I'd point that out, since not everyone's finished with or even does the savage fights, and also depending on your job and such some augmented Mendacity pieces are better-suited than their savage counterparts, it might still be worth it. But hey, to each their own.
